CATEGORIES


There are 29 categories are available to enter (19 Campaign Categories and 10 Media Vendor Categories) with a further six awards at the discretion of the judges. To view details about the individual categories, please click on the appropriate heading in the right hand column.
 

Campaign Categories

There are 19 categories which invite as entries the most innovative, imaginatively integrated, elegantly crafted, well targeted, immaculately executed campaigns.
Winners of the Campaign categories will be announced during The Festival of Media at the Palacio de Congresos from 20-21 April 2009.  

 

Media Owner Categories

There are 10 categories open to media owners – from newspaper and magazine publishing groups, to the pure-play digital brands; from traditional out-of-home businesses and cinema networks to the mobile network operators and online retailers who are establishing entirely new advertising sales propositions across the world.
Winners of the Media Owner categories will be announced during The Festival of Media at the Palacio de Congresos from 20-21 April 2009.  

 

Jury Categories

In addition there are six special Jury categories. The winners of these prestigious categories will be selected from those who have been judged as excellent in the entering categories. Winning a Jury Award signifies true peer-group acknowledgement – through this body of work, a truly outstanding case study, company, agency – or even individual – will emerge.
Winners of the Jury Awards will be announced within the amazing setting of the Museu de les Ciencies Principe Felipe at the Awards Gala Dinner on Tuesday 21 April 2009.  

 

The People's Award

This category recognises the wisdom of crowds, the power of collective thought to identify great work and inspiring ideas.  Every shortlisted Campaign Category entry will be made available for online viewing on the Cream website for two weeks prior to the Festival and will be presented for voting by the Festival of Media delegates.
Winners of The People's Award will be announced within the amazing setting of the Museu de les Ciencies Principe Felipe at the Awards Gala Dinner on Tuesday 21 April 2009.
