Shortlist announced
The global media and marketing industry will celebrate the very best in media thinking and communications strategy from around the world at the fourth annual Festival of Media. Entries from around the world have now been reviewed by a Shortlisting Jury, comprising global advertisers, media experts and wider communication practitioners.

The winners of the Awards will be announced at the Festival of Media Awards Gala Dinner, the finale of the Festival of Media, in Valencia, Spain on 20 April 2010 in front of an audience of senior advertising decision makers. Tickets are now available for the Festival of Media and, separately, for the Gala Dinner.

History
The Festival of Media Awards were launched in response to the beginning of a new advertising era and shaped in consultation with the industry. They showcase creative and effective use of media, as well as media owner innovation. In this second year, the Festival of Media Awards have been further refined – with a revised list of categories and a streamlined judging process. The changes have been made in line with the ethos of the Awards and reflect the continually adapting media and marketing landscape in which we all work.
The Festival of Media Awards recognise that media expertise no longer resides in a single location. Entrants for the awards can come from a variety of organisations – from the obvious suspects like media agencies, full service agencies, specialist digital agencies and advertisers to unique outfits such as social network application developers, mobile agencies, content creators, production companies, rights holders, music and sports specialists and more!
